I believe that it is important to consider a patient's environment when making a diagnosis due to the fact that it plays a large role in the chance of the patient contracting certain diseases. For an example from the case, the patient was more susceptible to contracting Chagas disease due to his status as an undocumented worker. This resulted in him living in unclean conditions with lots of dirt and cracks. Their house and the increased amount of bugs makes the diagnosis of Chagas disease much more likely. As practicing physicians, we need to focus our attention on a patient history to determine what risk factors they would have for certain diseases.

The patient's environment is very important however we must know that chaga is mostly in very tropical countries like my country El Salvador, not only in the work it does or its surroundings, we must know that there are houses made of adobe where it is more bulner crien by the material that is made your home also occurs in the urban area depends on the cleanliness of your environment, be it family, social or work that can be contagious.
