I was born and raised in Anchorage, Ak. Then I decided to leave the cold weather and finish my undergraduate degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I received a bachelor's in French and a minor in Biology with Honors. After hanging out in Hawaii for a while working, volunteering, shadowing, and beaching it, I traveled to Washington, DC. There I pursued a Masters degree in Public Health in Community and Prevention Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health. My perspective living in different places across the U.S., traveling, and taking courses in global health helped me prepare for this class. I am excited to learn more about global health and medicine in order to effect more positive and sustainable change throughout the world.
