Overpopulation is one of the main problems that deteriorate the environment, because the progressive increase and saturation of the population in a certain region, causes many animal and plant species to be extinguished by the advance of urban masses, pollution, which is a problem that gets bigger every day due to the use of more vehicles and the industrialization of emerging countries.
With regard to government sanctions to limit overpopulation, this would preserve the environment, but would halt the economic progression of families that depend on the widespread use of land.
