The excessive work and precarious conditions in which Adrián and the other workers were living in wooden houses with thatched roofs created an environment that favored the colonization of the triatomines and consequently the transmission of Chagas disease.
There is a greater risk of contracting the disease without an improvement of rural housing, without the correct orientation on the disease, its consequences and prevention. If there is no integration of activities that facilitate undocumented workers improve their social situation, thus remaining the same customs, unemployment, illiteracy, lack of sanitation services and poverty.
